Display story number in browser tab
Gaetano Giunta
When having many stories open in browser tabs, it it easy to switch between tabs if those show the story number as first element, rather than starting with the full story name. Esp with many tabs open, the tabs are short!

In my experience, as ugly and meaningless as it might be, the story ID is hands down the most useful way to work with stories/tickets/issues.
- it makes it possible to communicate easily and safely about stories between team members
- it is short enough to be easily to copy-pasted between different systems, emails, etc, as well as to search for using text search
- its format is easy to be scanned for by automation tools which can link systems together, such as fe. in git commit logs
- it is short enough to be easily memorized. Even if a backlog has hundreds of items, a team will only work with a few items at a time
While the full title seems nicer at first sight, as it conveys more information, it is nowhere near as useful, as it is prone to mistakes when used as identifier: many issues can have similar titles, or one can remember a different wording and have a hard time finding the correct issue. Or a colleague might have changed the title overnight to make it better fit the standards or spelling. Also, many teams are transnational, and not everyone has the same proficiency in the projects adopted official language, or a tendency to use the same key words.

Thanks for the idea, Gaetano. Our way of thinking is that it is easier for many users to recognize the tab if they can see the name of the story, but I certainly agree with you that the story ID is a better way to identify the tab if you work with only a few stories at a time and you can memorize the IDs.
